Fitness.... the road to the future

I am on Week 1 of a 9 week program to get in shape and stay fit! Stephanie and I are planning on running in 3, 5k's this summer and we are in the prosess of training for them! I am so out of shape that i get a side-stitch after about 13 min. but I'm getting there. It is a lot more easy to do things like this when you have someone who can help push you to where you need to be.... and also it is motivating to help someone reach their goals as you reach yours. It is really fun and I hope that all of you can find that person who can help you! :)

This first is always the hardest...

I have been thinking about starting a blog for a while now and what better time than at the beginning of a new year! So here it goes....

My new year has already begun with great joy and great sadness. The Joy in my life is my son Karsten. He is so special to me in ways that i can't describe. Watching him open presents at Christmas and singing songs at school makes my heart skip a beat knowing that he is mine.

My sadness comes with great sorrow and mourning for the loss of a friends brother, whom took his own life on the 8th of Jan. With great regret, I haven't seen my friend in a very long time and it always seems that the death of a loved one brings people back together. It is very sad that someone had to die for us to get back in touch. Enough of the sad things in life....

More of the great things! Karsten and I moved back in with my parents a few months ago and it has been a long few months! But it is great that they would let me come back after all these years of living on my own. My dad is crazy about Karsten and I know that he loves having him around all the time! It has been good for me to save a bit of money. I will be going back to school soon and would love to have a reserve saved up! I sopose that is the end on my first blog ever. I enjoyed writing it and I hope you will visit my spot more to keep in touch with me and me with you!
